It's Been a While

It has been busy around here and I must admit, I have neglected my store and my blog. I hope to have some new shots available in the shop soon as well as a that giveaway I promised.

Also, car/cruisin' season has arrived so I know I will have many many more automotive shots in the coming months. The arrival of freshly polished chrome always signals the start of spring/summer around here.

Good Morning everyone! It has been unseasonable warm and rainy around here lately and now the world seems to be covered in mud and muck. While I am looking forward to the spring and the beauty it brings I do adore the stillness of winter. I haven't been able to get out much this winter after new snow falls, but I when I have it has been wonderful. This photo comes from my first outing with my new camera and lense and was taken on Paint Creek Trail. Walk in the Woods on Etsy.

This morning I was excited to find out that I was featured on the Catching Fireflies Blog! I was honored to find my Reflection in Blue along with a link to my Gibb Photo site on the Catching Fireflies blog. I absolutely love shopping at Catching Fireflies and I adore the blog that April has created to highlight not only items in the store but also local artists, delicious recipes, indie music and other wonderful things! April is also an artist and the talent and inspiration behind a.i. paper designs.

I sent my submisssion in last year about this time and I was excited to be accepted. However, I was really excited when I went to the bookstore the other day and found them in the book!

Happy New Year everyone! So sorry for the long absence from blogging. The Holidays were really busy and with a full time job it is sometimes difficult to get on and blog in addition to everything else!

I hope the Holidays were good to you and I wish you all a very happy and healthy New Year!

I should have some new photos up soon on Etsy. You can always access my Etsy site by going to www.gibbphoto.com. I hope to begin moving my shop at Etsy over to gibbphoto.etsy.com within the next few months so if you have hearted my original shop remember to heart my new shop once I start the move.
